Target shopping sprees
If heaven could be found in a shopping center, Target would be the pearly gates. Any place that allows me to fill my shopping basket with lotion, cheap dishes, laundry detergent, $9.99 DVDs, economy-sized packs of Orbit gum and pajamas deserves a medal. If I'm feeling down, a trip to Target is a guaranteed pick-me-up, as sad as that sounds.
Wendy's Frosty and fries
Sometimes the foods that sound disgusting taste oh-so-good. Case in point: grabbing an order of Biggie fries and a chocolate Frosty from Wendy's, and dipping each soggy fry into the chocolatey goodness. It sounds like a pregnancy craving, but trust me, it's a thousand times more delicious than the ol' pickle and milkshake combo.
The Disney Channel
Admit it - you've watched your fair share of "That's So Raven" and Disney Channel Original Movies, including Hilary Duff's turn as Cadet Kelly in the movie with the same name. She definitely deserved an Oscar for that role. The children of the '90s also have the channel to thank for bringing them back to their childhood by airing "Boy Meets World" 20 times a day. Cory and Topanga were the original Ross and Rachel, and we have the Disney Channel to thank for reminding us.
Cheesy pop songs
Wedged between Feist and Flight of the Conchords on my iPod, you just might find Fergie. Anyone who denies singing along to "Fergalicious" is either a liar or lives under a rock. Sure, these artists may not write all their songs, but when it comes to danceable pop, I really don't care. If it sounds good, I'll work it out like Beyonce, embarrassing lyrics and all.
