The clit is it - the primary source for a woman's orgasm.

Pretty simple, right?

Well, not so fast now. Women often complain that their sexual partners do not give the clitoris enough attention in order to have a pleasurable sexual experience.

For many women to reach an orgasm, the clitoris needs some lovin'.

Male students offered their thoughts on the clitoris, what its main function is and what they think the best way to stimulate it is.

What are your thoughts on a woman's clitoris?

  • "It's amazing and important."
Taylor O'Brien, sophomore, psychology and construction management.

  • "We're engineers. We don't know what to do with those things."
    Steven Mahoney, senior, mechanical engineering

  • What is the primary function of the clitoris?

  • "It's only for pleasure."
    Jammie Jelks, sophomore, political science

  • "It causes women's pleasure. Some cultures believe sex shouldn't be for pleasure, only for reproduction, so women can be circumcised for that."
    Cristian Romo, sophomore, computer engineering

  • "Pleasure is its primary function. I learned that in a class."
    Omar Valle, senior, mechanical engineering

  • What is the best way to stimulate the clitoris?

  • "It's independent to the woman. It's important to ask what the woman likes. A woman should feel comfortable to say what she wants and what she likes. It's fun to play with ice."
Sam Steyer, sophomore, child developmental psychology

  • "A guy needs to go down south. Give the woman head."
    Ryan Walton, freshman, business administration

  • "You should feel free to experiment. Try writing the ABC's with your tongue. I've heard it works."
Taylor O'Brien, sophomore, psychology and construction management

  • "Be patient. Have some anticipation."
    Thomas Scovy, sophomore, business administration

  • "It's fun to play with it with your tongue or fingers."
    Brandon Loeb, senior, mechanical engineering

  • "Play around the outside. Don't jump right into playing with it."
    Tyler Curcio, sophomore, business administration

  • "You rub it like it's a joy stick. Like the toggle switch on an Xbox controller." Cristian Romo, sophomore, computer engineering
